We awoke on Saturday morning to a snow shower. If you’re not from Oregon you won’t understand that snow at the valley floor only happens one or two times a year, especially in November. So, it was the perfect recipe for getting into the Christmas mood and going out to buy a tree. We drove to the top of bald peak (insert hair joke here) and found a tree farm. Since we were basically navigating in a cloud it took us a while to find where we were going, but the payoff was worth it. We got a great view with snow and fog and nabbed ourselves a 7ft Noble Pine. Strong storms are blowing in toninght, the rain is coming down sideways. The National Weather Service has issued a hurricane warning for the coast. I love a good winter storm!

Kory -
Thanks for posting these pictures. They are fantastic! The Christmas tree looks beautiful and the snow is nice – very tame compared to Alaskan snow. My favorite is the picture of the five of you.
Miss you all,
Sue
